Halakere Samsthanmath is an outstanding institution in religious history of Karnataka. The math is situated on the border of Hyderabad Karnataka in a beautiful and calm location with a celebrated tradition of more than five centuries. The math engaged itself in a social, religious, educational and cultural activities in rendering a yeoman service in the development of the state.

His holiness Dr.Abhinava Annadana Mahaswamiji of Halakere Math who was corronated in the holi throne in 1987 as successor of shri S Prabhurajendra swamiji. The present seer is the president of SAVVP Samithi under his spiritual and administrative guidence of whom about 14 institutions are running today with an intention of to spread education to the door steps of common people in rural and remote areas .

He Is widely respected for his philanthropic work by all the communities.In recognition of humanitararian work shri swamiji was conferred with an honorary degree of doctor of literature by Shri Krishnadevaraya university Bellary. He continues his humanitarian work at the age of 79. He is also known as Nadeduva Devaru.

The seer successfully undertaken 15 days yathra along with 261 bullackcart to Ulavi to bring awareness biofuel, organic farming and environmental Bio-diversity among the people.

The SAVVP Samithi founded in 1943 before pre-independent era by guru Annadana Swamiji Halakere. Since the inception the inception of the samiti a citadel of knowledge and learning upholds the ideal that “Nothing is holier than knowledge every long march begins with small step ”. A dream, an ideal cherished by the founding fathe of the institution.

The founding of SAVVP samithi was the beginning of long and unending march towards bringing education at all levels for the rural and deprived children of Ro taluka and surrounding areas covering the earst while Dharwad, Raichur, Vijayapur, Koppal Dist and places beyond these.

The mission of the samithi is to provide the education to the under previlaged poor and farmer’s children with a small beginning the samithi has taken long strides creating historical contribution to the field of education in India.

Lot of water has flown under the bridge since the samithi commenced functioning, the political scene the economic conditions and the academic atmosphere in the country have experienced phenomenal vicissitudes, at the samithi has not lost the site of its mission for the 6 decades. It has been building new educational establishments and spreading its wings to various shares of the academic world.

Today the samithi has under its administration pre-primary, primary and one residential primary and highschool for dumb and deaf, two ITI’s, three pre-university colleges and degree colleges. Which speaks the anormous efforts made by the samithi.

The management of the samiti operates with religious and philonthrophic spirit. The president of the management with spiritual approach and far-sighted perspective of the founding father has carved in the emblem the ideal that “Nothing is holier than knowledge”.

Our samithi celebrates the platinum jubilee year of shri Annadana Vijaya Boy’s High-school Naregal(1943), Golden jubilee year of Annadana Vijaya Boy’s High-school Nidagundi(1966),Shri Annadaneshwara Pre-University and degree college Naregal(1966),Silver jubilee year of shri Basaveshwara Primary School Naregal(1991), the Residential School for Dumb and Deaf Naregal(1991), Shri kotturuswamy ITI College Naregal(1991).
